"The Dining Diva" to appear on the Whirlpool Cooking Stage
Visitors to the Spring Home and Garden Show can also stop by the Whirlpool Cooking Stage (booth #619) for live cooking demos on the latest Whirlpool Appliances by Molly Fowler, "The Dining Diva," who will share her favorite quick and easy recipes.
During her "Sweet and Sassy Southwestern" session, she will prepare open-faced brie and peach quesadillas, as well as chipotle-glazed pork tenderloin on jalapeno corn cakes, garnished with an avocado-cilantro cream sauce. For her "Party Diva-Style" show, Fowler will make tropical shrimp skewers with a lime-cream dipping sauce and fig, goat cheese and rosemary tarts with a honey balsamic reduction. Fowler's passion is contagious and fun. "I want to make people want to cook," Fowler said. "It's my mission in life."
Wilsonart "Surfaces with Style" Feature Exhibit
Wilsonart (booth #1109) will bring an amazing portfolio of countertop finishes to its feature exhibit "Surfaces with Style." The exhibit will feature Wilsonart High Definition and Premium laminates, Wilsonart HD sinks, the Wilsonart Custom Edge, as well as samples of Cambria Quartz, a product for which the company is an exclusive distributor in Texas.
"These products will be displayed in several full-sized kitchen settings so visitors can experience the material in real-life and real-use scenarios. These countertops rival the high end granites and marbles that are so popular today, without the sticker shock. Wilsonart High Definition brand laminates take laminate to a whole new level," regional manager Dennis Ivey said.
New Orleans-Themed Kitchen and Bath
Final Touch Granite (booth #1001) is always a star of the shows in The Woodlands and this fall's "Timeless with a Twist" exhibit is inspired by French and New Orleans traditions all with a modern twist that is very warm and playful. The exhibit will feature a full galley kitchen, a beautiful confetti backsplash and hand-honed resin sinks, a sampling of gorgeous granites, bathroom vanities, floors, walls, mosaics, columns and more -- all built in just two days!
Easy Living by Design Exhibit features Creative Ideas for future home needs
Keechi Creek Builders will show new products such as walk-in tubs and control centers to adjust lighting and make life more comfortable in their Easy Living by Design feature exhibit (space #100).
